Orillia OPP helped with the operation; authorities say both individuals face charges related to drug trafficking.
Authorities seized drugs, ammunition, and cash from two homes in Wasaga Beach, resulting in the arrest of a 63-year-old man and a 32-year-old man as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
Officers from the Community Street Crimes Unit at the Huronia West OPP detachment executed search warrants at two residences today (Oct. 16) with assistance from Collingwood, Southern Georgian Bay, and Orillia OPP.
According to a news release, the following items were confiscated from the homes:
A quantity of cocaine, fentanyl, methylphenidate, oxycodone, suboxone, psilocybin
Rounds of firearm ammunition
A quantity of Canadian currency
Items associated with drug trafficking
Two individuals were arrested and charged.
Morgan Miner, 32 years old, from Wasaga Beach was charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – four counts
Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000
Dani St. Pierre, 63 years old, also from Wasaga Beach was charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – four counts
Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000
Possession of ammunition contrary to prohibition order
Failing to comply with probation order
The suspects are being held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on Oct. 16, 2025.
