Suspects fled in SUV
Dillon noted that Muhammad was shot in his upper body. He mentioned that investigators are looking for two suspects who escaped in a white SUV. This incident marks Burlington’s first homicide of the year, according to Dillon. Dillon added that authorities are unsure if Muhammad had any prior connection with the suspects. “That’s going to be part of our investigation to see what the motive was, what any relationship was there,” he said. Dillon also indicated that police “don’t believe there’s any known risk to public safety at this time.” He said investigators will explore any possible links to other crimes that may have occurred in the area.Source link
