Robert Earl Brown OBITUARY
Robert Earl Brown went to his heavenly home on January 9, 2026. He was born in Roseville, Michigan, the first child of Herbert and Martha Brown. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Church. Robert’s family later moved to Glendora, CA where he graduated from Citrus High School and Citrus Junior College. In 1958, Robert joined the Army and trained to command a microwave relay station in Stuttgart, Germany for two years. While there, he met his wife Shirley Mosshammer, a teacher at Hope Lutheran Church and School; they married on November 24, 1962. Robert worked for Pacific Telephone and Telegraph as well as AT& T. He and Shirley were blessed with four children and lived in the same home in Ontario for 58 years. The family attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ontario and First Lutheran Church in Lake Elsinore. In 1990, Robert purchased Alosta Ace Hardware on Route 66 in Glendora and became active in the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. Faith in Christ, love for his family, and serving others were key parts of Robert’s life. He will always hold a special place in the hearts of his wife of 63 years, their four children, thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.Source link
