This morning, the Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium announced that all school buses across the Simcoe County area are cancelled. The decision comes because of bad road conditions and visibility issues, with forecasts predicting these conditions to persist throughout the school day.
The following zones have been affected:
North – Elmvale, Midland, Penetanguishene, and Orillia
West – Collingwood, Stayner & Wasaga Beach
Central – Barrie, Innisfil & Angus
South – Alliston, Beeton, Bradford, Cookstown & Tottenham
Schools will remain open for student learning.
