A 57-year-old motorcyclist from Ottawa has died after a crash with a car on Tuesday along Highway 60.
At approximately 4:30 p. m. on September 30, officers from the Renfrew detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police arrived at the scene in Horton Township, leading to a temporary closure of the highway in both directions between Butler Road and Cotieville Road.
The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The car driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
According to a news release from police on Wednesday, OPP technical collision investigators and a reconstruction specialist were at the site of the crash as their investigation continued.
