QEW Traffic Disruption After Accident in Mississauga

Update: All lanes were cleared by 9:39 a. m., according to the OPP.

The accident involved three vehicles, including a tractor trailer and two cars, as reported by the police.

Lanes were blocked on the QEW following a multi-vehicle crash at the border of Toronto and Mississauga on Tuesday morning.

The three left westbound lanes on the highway were obstructed at Highway 427, as stated by the Ontario Provincial Police on X at 8:51 a. m.

Police mentioned that the severity of injuries remains unclear.

Traffic is heavy in the vicinity, and drivers are advised to exercise caution while navigating through or consider an alternate route, according to police.
