TORONTO — Ontario Premier Doug Ford has introduced that Phil Verster is leaving as the top of provincial transit company Metrolinx.

The company — and Verster particularly — have come below frequent hearth for the long-delayed Eglinton Crosstown LRT mission, which was imagined to open in 2020.
