One individual has been killed in a crash that closed Freeway 7 southwest of Ottawa Wednesday morning, in response to police.

One individual has been killed in a crash that closed Freeway 7 southwest of Ottawa Wednesday morning, in response to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
In a sequence of posts on X, OPP first mentioned round 10:40 a.m. the freeway was closed by a crash between Drummond Concession 7 and Westshore Highway.
About half an hour later, OPP introduced an unnamed individual had died. There have been no particulars on what brought on the crash, nor any point out of different accidents.
The freeway “will stay closed for a protracted interval,” OPP mentioned. They posted round 9:20 p.m. that it had reopened.
The scene is in Drummond/North Elmsley, about 15 kilometres from Perth and 20 kilometres from Carleton Place.
