WASAGA BEACH – Food truck vendors from across Ontario are welcomed to join one of the province’s top summer destinations as the Town of Wasaga Beach opens applications for its festivals and events for the 2026-2028 season.
With millions of visitors flocking each year, this is a great chance for mobile food operators to connect with large crowds during busy summer weekends and key event dates.
The Town’s events calendar for 2026-2028 features major attractions, including symphony fireworks on Canada Day, the award-winning Memories of Summer music festival-now extending to three days of live shows-and new experiences like the inaugural Wasaga Beach Life Festival. These events create several peak revenue opportunities for vendors, supported by a steady influx of returning visitors throughout the summer.
Returning fall events, such as the Stonebridge Wasaga Beach Blues Festival and the Mayor’s Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival, further enhance earning potential beyond just the traditional busy months-this is part of the Town’s plan to extend a more robust tourism season.
Vendors chosen through this process will also get a chance to be part of the Town’s planned Food Truck Festival in spring/summer 2027, contributing to Wasaga Beach’s growing food and festival culture.
In line with its goal to improve beachside and event experiences, the Town is looking for qualified food vendors who can help create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Successful applicants will provide appealing menus, dependable service, and have the ability to operate at various outdoor events during peak summer conditions.
Interested vendors can check out the full Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) and submit applications via the Town’s Bids and Tenders platform: wasagabeach. bidsandtenders. ca
