Two men have lost their lives following a collision in Kingsville on Thursday night.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) report that the incident took place around 10:40 p. m. on County Road 34 W., situated between Olinda Side Road and County Road 18.
Authorities indicate that the two victims were both male-one was 25 years old and the other was 27. Despite efforts to revive them, they were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
This tragic accident marks the sixth road fatality in Essex County since Wednesday morning.
The stretch of County Road 34 W. between Olinda Side Road and County Road 18, which had been closed for investigation purposes, has now reopened.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to reach out to them.
Police confirm that the driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene and did not sustain any injuries.
