Five individuals have sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident that resulted in road closures on Highway 403 and the QEW in Burlington on Tuesday.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that the crash involved a sedan and an SUV around 12:45 p. m.
Four occupants of the sedan were transported to the hospital, with two suffering serious injuries and two with minor ones. The driver of the SUV was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The southbound on-ramp from Guelph Line to Highway 403 in Burlington is closed, along with the westbound QEW from Guelph Line to Brant due to this incident.
Motorists may face delays in this area.
The road closure is anticipated to remain in effect until 6 p. m.
