Golf fans in the Greater Toronto Area now have a new spot to check out, and there’s a great reason to stop by this weekend.
Golf Town has launched its first flagship store in Oakville, Ontario, celebrating with $50 cash cards for everyone waiting in line and over $20,000 in hourly prize giveaways during its grand-opening events on October 17 and 18.
This new location at 290 North Service Road West spans 40,000 square feet, making it about two and a half times larger than the average Golf Town store.
It’s also the retailer’s milestone 50th store across Canada, representing an investment of $15 million.
What Can You Find Inside the New Golf Town Store?
The Oakville store offers much more than just golf clubs, shoes, and apparel.
A standout feature is a massive 1,300-square-foot putting green-approximately four times bigger than those found at standard locations. It features an interactive Putt View system that utilizes dual projectors to help golfers visualize their putts.
You’ll also find five Foresight golf simulator bays and two Studio X custom-fitting bays that come equipped with technology simulating various putting slopes and conditions.
If you’re looking to customize your gear, there’s an on-site workshop where you can get custom wedge stamping, logo printing on golf balls, and other personalization options.
The store has special sections for Taylor Made, Callaway, Odyssey, PING, and Titleist brands along with expanded clothing and footwear departments. The footwear area even includes a 3D foot-scanning system to help shoppers find their perfect fit.
$50 Cash Cards and Exciting Giveaways
The official grand-opening festivities will last two days with plenty of opportunities for visitors to explore the new space while taking part in giveaways.
If you’re in line on Saturday or Sunday morning when doors open at 8:00 a. m., you’ll receive a $50 Golf Town cash card-one per customer. The card must be used that same day.
The store is also hosting hourly prize giveaways worth more than $20,000 throughout the weekend!
