London An elderly driver has passed away following a two-vehicle accident in southwest Oxford Township.

An elderly driver has passed away following a two-vehicle accident in southwest Oxford Township.
At around 7:10 p. m. Thursday, Oxford County provincial police and emergency crews were called to the scene at Plank Line near Keswick Road, northwest of Tillsonburg.
The investigation revealed that an SUV and pickup truck collided at that location. The pickup truck driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries, according to police. The SUV’s driver, a 76-year-old from Mount Elgin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating and are encouraging anyone with information to reach out.
