The Governments of Canada and Ontario have revealed nearly $2.9 million in shared funding to create 30 new affordable housing units in Whitby.
Both governments made this announcement on Friday.
This project on Centre Street South aims to revamp an old two-storey building.
It will be transformed into a modern three-storey facility for seniors.
Completion is anticipated for spring 2027.
