Since 2015, Brad Lemaich has been leading the Shelburne and District Fire Department – but now he’s going back to where it all began. Lemaich has been appointed as the new fire chief for the Town of Tillsonburg. He will begin his new role on June 8th. Lemaich, who previously lived in Tillsonburg, started his career as an emergency responder in 2003. He worked as a firefighter and trainer with Tillsonburg Fire and Rescue until 2013. While he’ll miss Shelburne, he’s thrilled about the chance to take on this job right where he started and be nearer to family. The fire board has started planning to find someone to take over his position in Shelburne. Source link
