Update: Just before 2 p. m., the OPP announced that Highway 400 northbound between Highway 93 and Line 6 in Oro-Medonte has reopened after a two-vehicle crash.
A transport truck and a passenger vehicle were reportedly involved in the accident.

A section of Highway 400 is closed due to a crash north of Barrie on Wednesday morning.
The collision was reported around 8 a. m. in the northbound lanes of the highway, according to the Ontario Provincial Police on X.
Initially, one lane was shut down, but an update at 8:15 a. m. indicated that Highway 400 northbound is fully closed between Highway 93 and Line 6.
Police have not shared any additional details about the incident.
