The Ontario Provincial Police has announced its involvement in the investigation concerning suspected fraud at the London Health Sciences Centre.
On Thursday, the OPP revealed it has established a dedicated tip line to assist with this inquiry, which began in October 2024 when the hospital alerted the London Police Service about its concerns.
Last July, officials from the hospital indicated that an investigation uncovered fraudulent activities spanning from 2013 to 2024 and suggested that previous members of the executive team were aware of these practices but did not take action.
