A St. Catharines man lost his life in a crash north of Parry Sound on Wednesday night, according to police reports.
The Ontario Provincial Police indicated that the incident occurred in Ardbeg, within the Municipality of Whitestone.
Officers responded around 9:50 p. m. to a pickup truck that had rolled over on Clear Lake Road near Nesbitts Drive.
The vehicle’s driver – a 33-year-old man from St. Catharines – was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another individual was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, as stated by police.
“An OPP technical collision investigator and a reconstructionist attended the scene to assist West Parry Sound OPP with the investigation,” officers noted.
“Clear Lake Road was closed for several hours and has since reopened.”
Authorities did not disclose what might have caused the crash.
