The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking into the death of a resident from Chatham.
Authorities say they were alerted just before midnight on July 25 about a 33-year-old Chatham resident who had been rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later declared dead.
Investigators believe that the victim may have received injuries during an incident on River Line at Delaware Nation in Moraviantown and are examining the details surrounding this tragic event.
“The circumstances that resulted in the fatal injuries remain under investigation. Investigators are working to determine what occurred and are urging anyone with information to come forward,” the OPP said.
