A man is currently in critical condition at a trauma center in Toronto after being hit by a vehicle in Whitby, Ont., according to police.
Durham Regional Police responded to the incident on Old Lake Ridge Road around 8:50 p. m. on Saturday night.
Officials reported that the man was standing in a driveway when he was struck and ended up pinned between two vehicles due to the accident.

He was taken urgently to a trauma center in Toronto where he remains in critical condition, as stated by police.
“This collision is still under investigation,” Durham police said.
