Sherrill Geraldine “Sherry” SOMORA OBITUARY
SOMORA Sherrill Geraldine “Sherry” (Hecker), Age 82, of Maplewood Oct. 8, 1943 – Mar. 23, 2026. Sherry was born in Red Wing, Minnesota and spent her first ten years living in Bay City, Wisconsin. She then moved to St. Paul where she put down roots and raised her family. Sherry enjoyed bowling, reading, visiting casinos, playing cards, camping, lawn games, and spending time with family and friends. She had a special fondness for animals, particularly cats. Sherrill worked in hospitality and residential care work which she took great pride in. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis Hecker and Joyce Newlin; husbands Ralph Somora Jr. and Gerald Somora Sr.; and brothers Ronald and Bruce Hecker. She is survived by her children Dawn (Rick), Greg (Lori), and Cory; grandchildren Kyle (Erin), Kara (Paul) Stadem, and Meg; great granddaughter Kaia; as well as special nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Suite Living Little Canada for the kindness and care Sherry received during her time there. In accordance with Sherrill’s wishes, no services will be held.Source link
