In Loving Memory of Peter Lawrence “Larry” Stacknick.
Peter Lawrence “Larry” Stacknick was born on June 24, 1950, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and he passed away on June 22, 2026. He leaves behind a lifetime filled with cherished memories.
He is fondly remembered by his two sons, Michael and Mark; his brother, Charles; and his sister, Heather.
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Bob; his sisters, Marg and Debbie; his brother, Billy; and parents Marjory and Lawrence.
A talented carpenter, Larry took great pride in what he did. He especially loved the time spent working with his sons, teaching them not just the skills of the trade but also the importance of hard work, patience, and craftsmanship. The lessons he imparted through both his hands and heart will continue to resonate with them.
Apart from work, Larry had a deep love for classic rock and blues music. He particularly enjoyed listening to Led Zeppelin and Johnny Winter-his favorite tunes often formed the backdrop of his days.
Larry will be deeply missed and fondly recalled for his exceptional skill as a carpenter and the lasting influence he had on those lucky enough to know him. His memory will endure in the lives he impacted and the legacy he created.
