South Bruce OPP reports that a man has died and another was hospitalized after a head-on crash on Hwy 21 Tuesday evening.
Emergency services arrived at the location between Bruce Road 40 and Bruce-Saugeen Townline on Hwy 21 around 5:20 p. m.
As per an update on social media from OPP Sgt. Ed Sanchuk, the accident involved a pickup truck and an SUV.
The driver of the SUV, a 49-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital.
Hwy 21 was shut down for several hours while police conducted their investigation but has since reopened.
