Police in Barrie are looking into the deaths of two individuals found at a Peregrine Road home in the city’s northern area on Saturday morning.
In a post on social media, authorities mentioned that officers came across the man and woman during a well-being check at the house situated near St. Vincent Street and Osprey Ridge Road.
Yellow police tape surrounds the home as well as a vehicle parked on the street outside.

At around 11 a. m., several police cars were seen at the property, including one parked in the backyard.
“The victims are believed to be known to each other, and the incident appears isolated,” police stated on social media.
They also noted that there will be an ongoing police presence in the area as investigations continue.
