A man, 46 years old, is being sought after his parents died on Thursday due to an assault in Mississauga, Ont., according to Peel Regional Police.

Insp. Mike Mavity stated that officers were dispatched to a residence near Hurontario Street and Lakeshore Road East shortly after 7 p. m. They discovered two individuals – one aged 70 and the other 71 – suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The victims were transported to the hospital, where they later passed away.

Mavity mentioned that they were the parents of Jordan Sangwin, who authorities say is wanted for two counts of first-degree murder. Sangwin is regarded as armed and dangerous.

Authorities believe that Sangwin did not reside at the location where the incident took place.

He has been described as having a medium build with short, salt and pepper hair and being clean-shaven. The last time he was seen, he was wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt, dark shorts, and carrying a black duffle bag.
