Southern Georgian Bay OPP are looking into a tragic accident that happened on the premises of Waypoint Mental Health Care on Church Street in Penetanguishene.
According to police, emergency services were summoned to the hospital grounds around 10 this morning after a delivery vehicle hit a pedestrian.
The victim is a 61-year-old woman, who worked at the hospital, and police report that she was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been filed so far, and the investigation continues.
