Two Arrested in $120K Cellphone Trafficking Case

Hamilton police report that they have taken two individuals into custody for allegedly trafficking $120,000 worth of cellphones from Bell Canada.

Authorities say the suspects broke into a warehouse run by TForce Logistics in Stoney Creek during December 2024 and January 2025, specifically targeting cellphones owned by Bell Canada.

Investigators were able to link the stolen devices to businesses Link It Up located at 34 Bristol Rd., in Mississauga and Amrit Electronics in Etobicoke.

Search warrants were carried out at both locations where the following items were recovered:

183 stolen i Phone 16 Pro Max phones (retail value: $250,000 to $450,000) $65,000 in Canadian currency and $4,000 in U. S. currency 16.5 kilograms of silver bars worth $34,000 Stolen corporate SIM cards used to unlock hundreds of stolen phones Packages addressed to Bell customers who had been defrauded of new i Phones by overseas scam call centres

As a result of this investigation, Navjot Singh, 38, from Oakville was arrested and charged with these offences:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 Trafficking Property Obtained by Crime

Puneet Singh, 45, also from Oakville is facing charges including:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 Trafficking Property Obtained by Crime Proceeds of Crime Over $5000 Fraud Over $5000
