Windsor women flip the script on hoarder homes for HGTV spotlight

The duo has rolled up their sleeves to remodel two of the town’s uncared for properties for the most recent season of HGTV’s Hoarder Home Flippers.

“It has been so much fun to be part of this show,” mentioned Ritsche, who co-founded the true property company Border Metropolis Dwelling with Bradt in 2016. “It made us feel really good to be affecting change and showcasing the best sides of our city.”

“Deidre and I both come from backgrounds where we’re part of the crew,” Bradt informed the Star. “Being on the other side of the camera was nerve wracking but also such a great experience.

“Our crew was made up of a group of people that we felt very comfortable with.”

Every day of filming usually lasted 12 hours.

“We had to be on set before the sun came up so that we could capture as much in a day as possible,” Ritsche mentioned. “At one point we were filming two episodes at once.

“We also ran our business while filming — we were doing five jobs as two people.”

The pair mentioned the crew gave them a common thought of what they needed, however the dialogue was largely unscripted.

They tried to maintain the banter gentle and humorous, however they’re excited to see what was captured in informal dialog with the cameras consistently rolling.

“We have good chemistry and it’s very authentic to who we are as people,” Ritsche mentioned. “We’re both business partners and very close friends.”

“We don’t stop until we get it done,” mentioned Bradt. “We have a great team of people who trust us and we lead the team as two women.”
