A big portion of midwestern and southwestern Ontario has been blanketed by dense fog.
Atmosphere Canada issued a fog advisory for Goderich, Bluewater , and southern Huron County, in addition to London, Middlesex County, Elgin County, and Oxford County on Wednesday morning.
The fog is so thick visibility in some areas is close to zero, the nationwide climate company warned.
“Visibility could also be considerably and all of the sudden diminished to close zero. Journey is predicted to be hazardous as a result of diminished visibility in some areas,” Atmosphere Canada stated in its advisory.
The fog slowed the morning commute and led to quite a few bus delays and cancellations in Huron-Perth and Wellington County. The complete record could be discovered on our closures web page.
Atmosphere Canada expects the fog to raise close to noon Wednesday.
