The Windsor Police Service has issued an arrest warrant for the suspect wished in connection to Monday’s downtown stabbing.


Simply after 10:30 p.m. on Monday, police have been known as to an assault in progress close to Pelissier Avenue and Erie Avenue West.


Officers stated they discovered a 38-year-old man who sustained life-threatening accidents. They have been taken to hospital.


The WPS stated via an investigation, it was realized a verbal argument befell between the sufferer and two males.


“After exchanging words, the confrontation escalated into a physical altercation when the two suspects stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife and struck him with a metal pole,” learn a information launch.


The suspects have been recognized as 30-year-old Skylar Scott and 39-year-old Jeffrey Main.


Scott is needed on a warrant for assault with a weapon, assault inflicting bodily hurt and possession of a harmful weapon.


He’s described as an Indigenous man, round 5 ft 10 inches tall with a medium construct and lengthy, black curly hair in a ponytail.


He was final seen carrying a gray shirt and beige pants or shorts.


Main was arrested on Tuesday within the 800 block of Ouellette Avenue. He’s going through charges for assault with a weapon and possession of a harmful weapon.
