Matt Marchand has a brand new job as a public affairs and coverage analyst with the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers Affiliation.
Marchand resigned from the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce as President and CEO in June 2018 to pursue a run for the Mayor of Windsor. He misplaced the election to Drew Dilkens.
Together with his background in enterprise, authorities, and public engagement, the affiliation says Marchand has the right combination for his new position.
A launch stated, “Matt brings a wealth of expertise and a confirmed monitor report of management and innovation to the OGVG. ”
“I’m very happy that Matt has determined to hitch our workforce and supply his in depth expertise,” stated OGVG Govt Director Richard Lee. “His strategic imaginative and prescient and dedication to excellence will undoubtedly contribute to the continued development and success of our group.”
Marchand holds a Grasp of Economics and Political Science from the London College of Economics and Political Science and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the College of Windsor.
OGVG represents greater than 170 greenhouse farmers, and the sector continues to develop. Over the previous decade, development has averaged six per cent, and it is anticipated to develop by one other 5 per cent yearly for the following ten years.
