Quickly, there will likely be six new electrical car chargers within the City of Tecumseh.
The brand new chargers, paid for by means of the province’s EV ChargeON Program, will likely be positioned at Tecumseh City Corridor and Tecumseh CADA Library.
“For EV drivers, finding a charging station that’s close by and available can mean the difference between a quick stop and a time-consuming detour that takes time away from work, school or family,” mentioned Andrew Dowie, MPP for Windsor–Tecumseh. “I’m proud to be delivering six new EV charging stations in Tecumseh to make life easier and more convenient for drivers.”
The entire chargers will likely be Stage 3 quick charger ports.
“With more than 201,000 electric vehicles on the road in Ontario, we’re putting shovels in the ground to build more charging stations and make life easier for drivers,” mentioned Stephen Lecce, Minister of Power and Electrification. “That includes a focus on smaller and underserved communities across our province where we are providing more certainty for parents and workers during their commutes.”
