Ontario’s Ministry of Labour is investigating the dying of a employee after he was struck by a bit of equipment in Whitby.
The incident occurred round 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday on Hopkins Road, south of Dundas Road.
Police say the person was trapped below a steamroller.
The person has not been publicly recognized.
Ministry officers say he was an worker of Central Park Paving, a driveway restore firm.
They’ve assigned an inspector to look into the office fatality.
