Most restaurants that are usually open on Mondays-it’s best to call ahead to confirm Cineplex movie theatres in Bowmanville, Oshawa, Ajax and Pickering will be operating, along with Landmark Cinemas in Whitby Certain Shoppers Drug Mart locations Outdoor recreation areas like major parks and trails including the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail and the Oak Ridges Moraine Several craft breweries that typically open on Mondays will maintain their regular hours on Thanksgiving; this includes All or Nothing Brewhouse in Oshawa and Old Flame in Port Perry. Town in Whitby will also welcome visitors with several events at Town’s Pumphouse location on the waterfront to mark the season’s end. Some community centers will remain open; Harmon Arena (regular hours) and Delpark Homes Centre (9 a. m. to 5 p. m.) in Oshawa plus Mc Lean Community Centre in Ajax (7 a. m. to 2 p. m.).
