Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Whitby need to converse to witnesses after a person was fatally struck by a minimum of one car in a hit-and-run.
Authorities say it occurred on Tuesday simply earlier than 10 p.m. on Freeway 412 close to Taunton Highway.
Officers with OPP Whitby Detachment say a 50-year-old man was pronounced deceased. Police imagine he was hit by multiple car, none of which remained on the scene.
Investigators are working to find out why the person was on the freeway on the time he was struck.
Witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage of the world are being requested to contact Whitby OPP.
