Durham police say they’ve charged with a person with aggravated assault after a “very violent” stabbing in Whitby, Ont. left a male critically injured on Thursday.
The stabbing occurred at Motel 6 at 165 Shoppers Rd., in keeping with the Durham Regional Police Service. Police had been known as to the scene at 3:07 p.m.
