A 23-year-old girl is in hospital in life-threatening situation after she was struck in a hit-and-run in Whitby early Saturday morning.


Police mentioned the collision occurred on Shoppers Drive, between Brock and Backyard streets, at round 6:20 a.m.


In accordance with police, the lady simply hopped off the bus and was crossing the road when she was struck by a car that allegedly ran a pink mild.


The girl was taken to a Toronto-area trauma hospital. Police initially mentioned she was in critical situation, however in an replace on Saturday afternoon, they confirmed her accidents at the moment are essential.


In the meantime, police mentioned the driving force fled the scene and was final seen travelling west on Victoria Road West from Brock Road South.


The car is described as a 2010 silver, four-door Jaguar XF, and based on investigators, it could have harm on the entrance passenger-side nook.
