The City of Whitby is about to boost its waterfront expertise due to a $200,000 federal grant.
Funding is aimed toward revitalizing the realm across the Rowe Home.
“This investment marks a significant step forward in our efforts to improve public enjoyment of Whitby’s waterfront,” stated Whitby MP Ryan Turnbull. “It aligns with the Town’s Community Strategic Plan, which prioritizes enhancing the waterfront as a key aspect of our local development.”
The revitalization undertaking will embody a number of thrilling upgrades:
New areas for out of doors water sports activities
Recreation and placemaking areas with views of the harbour
A relaxation cease for cyclists
Public artwork installations
A brand new customer data hub
Enhancements are designed to draw each native residents and guests from past the area, boosting tourism and contributing to Whitby’s enchantment as a vibrant place to reside, work, and discover.
