Update: The individual has been located by Durham police.
The search for a wanted man is on after he left the care of Ontario Shores.
The man, 29, was last seen at 9 p.m. on Monday in the area of Byron Street South and Victoria Street West in Whitby.
Durham police say he frequents the downtown Whitby area and GO trains.
He is wanted on a Warrant of Committal.
Police say if you see him, do not approach and call them immediately.
He is described as: male, Black, 29-years-old, approximately 6’ tall, heavy build, with a tattoo on the front of his neck.
