The driving force and a passenger of a automobile have been injured following a collision involving a transport truck on Freeway 401 on Sunday morning.
Based on the Ontario Provincial Police Freeway Security Division, the collision occurred at round 3:25 a.m. within the Courtice Highway space.
Police say that two automobiles had been concerned, a automobile and a transport truck. The driving force of the automobile was taken to a trauma centre with minor accidents, and the passenger was transported to hospital with severe accidents.
Whereas it’s early of their investigation, police say that they consider the transport truck was slowing in the appropriate lane of visitors when the automobile rear ended the truck and misplaced management.
“[The] driver of the car suffered minor injuries, passenger was taken to trauma centre with critical injuries,” Const. Taylor Konkle advised reporters.
Police say that Freeway 401 is closed at Courtice Highway for an investigation.
