A man from Waterloo, who was arrested last fall for allegedly creating 3D-printed guns, is now facing additional charges.
According to Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson, on Friday, 40-year-old Collin Hennessy was arrested for two counts of Making a Terroristic Threat and intimidating a Victim or Witness in the third degree.
Law enforcement claims that Hennessy made specific plans to harm individuals from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and someone from the Seneca County Code Enforcement Office. These threats are reportedly linked to Hennessy’s arrest last October when he was found with 3D-printed firearms, ammunition, and a silencer.
Hennessy was apprehended in Clifton Springs and taken to the Seneca County Jail. He is currently waiting for his arraignment before the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
The arrest was executed by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office with help from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
