A 36-year previous man from Waterloo has been charged after abducting a teen from her residence in Kitchener.
The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) has charged the person with kidnapping whereas utilizing a firearm and break and enter a dwelling-house with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Police confirmed the person and woman know one another.
WRPS say the teenager was taken on Monday from her Kitchener residence within the space of Strasburg Street and Rush Meadow Road. In an effort to seek out the woman, police issued an Amber Alert round 7:20 p.m.
Chatting with Ontario Chronicle, Waterloo Regional Police stated the woman’s household had returned residence on Monday and located it was damaged into. That is after they realized their daughter was lacking, the drive’s director of public affairs Cherri Greeno stated, including the woman’s private belongings have been left behind.
Ontario Provincial Police situated the woman in Simcoe County round 8 p.m. the identical day with a male suspect.
