A man from Waterloo was arrested early Friday morning due to an outstanding warrant from Ontario County.
Deputies report that 21-year-old John Walker II was taken into custody around 12:20 a. m. after being found by Waterloo Police during a different situation. The officers discovered that Walker had an active warrant from Ontario County and informed the deputies.
Walker was taken to the Ontario County Jail, where he is currently held until his arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
