Three individuals needed treatment for smoke inhalation following a fire in Waterloo on Monday night.

Waterloo Fire Rescue was dispatched to 155 Lincoln Rd. in the area of Bridgeport Road East and Weber Street North at around 11:15 p. m. after reports of a unit ablaze.

This building is part of YW Supportive and Affordable Housing.

Emergency crews remained on site early Tuesday morning but left well before the morning commute began.

The cause of the fire remains unknown as the investigation is still ongoing.

No damage estimates have been provided as of Tuesday morning.

If anyone has information, they are encouraged to reach out to police or Crime Stoppers.
