Thursday shall be a snow day for many college students in Waterloo Area.
Each the Waterloo Area District Faculty Board and Waterloo Catholic District Faculty Board say all of their faculties shall be closed Feb. 13.
It’s due to a significant winter storm that’s anticipated to convey as much as 25 cm of snow.
A web based assertion mentioned, “With the safety of students, staff, and families as our top priority, the Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB), in collaboration with the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) and Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region (STSWR), has made the proactive decision to cancel all student transportation and close all schools on Thursday, February 13, 2025.”
STSWR mentioned all faculty buses, taxis and particular schooling routes shall be cancelled.
