This weekend looks cloudy, and we might see some snow, but don’t let that keep you from enjoying the events happening around town.

A psychic and crystal fair is taking place all weekend at Bingemans, featuring psychics, palm readers, tarot cards, vendors, and more.

If you’re looking for something mystical, check out the Luna Witches Market on Friday night at the Royal Canadian Legion in Guelph. There will be over 40 vendors along with mystical readers and healers offering swag bags.

The Sunday Grind music series in downtown Kitchener continues with DJ Good DR performing at Zazu Slow Bar and Cafe.

On Saturday evening, catch the Lift Every Voice concert at the Guelph Youth Music Centre. The Black heritage celebration will feature performances by Carlos Morgan, Verese Vassell-Bowen, and Michelle Adams.

The Kitchener Rangers are playing against the Windsor Spitfires on Friday night before heading to Erie to face off against the Otters on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Guelph Storm will be away this weekend.

Don’t miss out on watching the K-W Titans basketball team as they host the Windsor Express for the Kindness Game on Sunday at The Aud. Tipoff is set for 3 p. m.

Building Forward Together

Sunday 11 a. m. to 4 p. m.

Langs Community Health Centre, 1145 Concession Rd., Cambridge

This event organized by Rhythm and Blues Cambridge is part of Black History Month celebrations in honor of our community. Enjoy cultural performances, delicious food, and opportunities to connect with others.

Harmony of Cultures Festival

Friday 6 p. m. to 9 p. m., Saturday 12 p. m. to 6 p. m.

Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum, 10 Huron Rd., Kitchener

This two-day festival by Afropolitan Canada showcases arts, storytelling, performances, and community spirit. It’s a bilingual event designed for everyone but especially aims to uplift Black individuals as well as newcomers and francophones.

Meet, Greet, Sleds and Treats

Saturday 10 a. m. to 12 p. m.</P

Prueter School, 40 Prueter Ave., Kitchener</P

The Breithaupt Park Neighbourhood Association is hosting its inaugural winter event featuring sledding along with hot drinks to warm you up afterwards. Come hit the hill while getting acquainted with neighbors!</P

Waterloo Neighbourhood Associations Free Community Skate

Sunday 4 p. m. to 6:30 p. m.</P

Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex</P

A number of Waterloo neighbourhood associations are putting together this family-friendly skate session where people of all ages and skill levels can enjoy some time on ice!</P

Rock Paper Scissors: Book & Print Fair

Sunday 11 a. m. to 4 p. m.</P

Art Gallery of Guelph</P

This annual gathering brings together artists , illustrators , collectives , micro-publishers , zine-makers , and printmakers all focused on small-scale publishing.</P

Workshops happen Saturday but Sunday’s fair is open for everyone showcasing over fifty vendors along with a live screen-printing demo. Admission is free.</P
