Police say officers responded to Niagara Falls lodge June 18; investigation led to 2 folks being arrested and two alleged victims being recognized

On June 18, 2024, 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended a lodge in Niagara Falls in relation to a human-trafficking name.
In consequence, a human-trafficking investigation commenced.
The investigation led to 2 folks being arrested and two victims being recognized.
Lomar Brown, 26 years outdated, of Markham, was arrested and charged with the next Felony Code charges:
Trafficking in individuals below 18 years of age
Promoting one other individual’s sexual providers
Procuring individual below 18 years of age
Monetary profit from trafficking individual below 18 years of age
Materials profit from sexual providers offered by individual below 18 years of age
Possess proceeds obtained by crime below $5,000
Trafficking in individual’s by exercising management
Procuring
Forcible confinement
A 16-year-old feminine from Wasaga Seaside was arrested and charged with the next Felony Code offences:

Each accused are being held in custody pending a video bail listening to, which is anticipated to happen on June 18, 2024, on the Robert S. Okay. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
The Youth Felony Justice Act of Canada prohibits the Niagara Area Police Service from releasing the id of the accused younger individuals on this matter.
