Huronia West OPP ‘inundated’ with experiences of somebody spraypainting on automobiles, properties
WASAGA BEACH — Police say a youngster and a toddler have been charged – and a 3rd teenager too younger to face charges has been given a warning – after a two-day graffiti tagging spree in Wasaga Seashore targetting properties and automobiles.
Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have been inundated with experiences made by Wasaga Seashore residents this weekend, in accordance with an OPP launch.
“Many had awoken to search out their properties and automobiles tagged with graffiti in a single day on each Friday and Saturday. These mischievous acts passed off on Shore Lane and Outdated Mosley Avenue,” police stated.
After conducting a canvas of the areas, acquiring statements, images, and video, three suspects have been recognized and charges have been laid, police stated.
A 15-year-old male from Wasaga Seashore faces the next charges:
Mischief below $5,000 (12 counts)
Trespass at night time (11 counts)
A 12-year-old feminine from Wasaga Seashore is charged with:
Mischief below $5,000 (7 counts)
Trespass at night time (6 counts)
A 3rd feminine was recognized and warned, “however as a result of her age couldn’t be charged,” police stated.
The 2 who have been charged have been launched and are scheduled to seem earlier than the Ontario Courtroom of Justice at a later date.
