Police report that the same store was robbed on June 20 with a similar method by a suspect resembling the one in this case.

Authorities are searching for an individual involved in an armed robbery early Wednesday morning at a gas station located in Wasaga Beach.

At around 2:20 a. m., the suspect entered a Petro-Canada wielding a knife and demanded money, cigarettes, and vapes, according to Huronia West OPP in a news release.

The robber is described as having a medium build and was wearing dark clothing along with a cloth mask covering their face.

This particular gas station had been targeted previously on June 20 “with a similar MO by a suspect matching the description of this incident,” police mentioned.

If you have any information, please reach out to OPP at 1-888-310-1122. You can also provide tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or through p3tips. com.
