Police have been patrolling Wasaga Seashore, Clearview, and Springwater this weekend on ATVs
Officers from the Huronia West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) overlaying Wasaga Seashore, Springwater and Clearview Township, issued 41 charges whereas patrolling on ATVs this Thanksgiving weekend.
Based on a information launch from the OPP, the ATV patrols issued 41 charges, together with 31 below the off-road automobiles act, 10 below the trespass to property act, and one below the liquor licence and management act.
Among the ORVA (Off Highway Automobiles Act) charges that officers laid have been:
Fail to put on correct helmet
Fail to securely fasten chin strap
No insurance coverage
No plate
Allow little one below twelve to function off-road car
